This website

We don't set cookies, run analytics, or ask you to create an account. We don't know who visits, and we like it that way.

Two things on this site do talk to other companies' servers:

• Pages load the Lora and DM Sans typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser requests those font files from Google — like any server, Google sees your IP address when it delivers them. Google's privacy policy applies.
• The Tutorials page embeds our video with YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube‑nocookie.com), which doesn't set cookies unless you press play. Once you do, Google's terms apply.

When you buy Tadbooks

Checkout is handled entirely by our merchant of record — the company that processes the sale on our behalf. They collect your name, email, payment details, and billing country (for VAT and sales tax), and they send your receipt and download links. We receive your name and email so we can announce updates and honor refunds — we never see your card number. Our merchant of record's privacy policy covers the checkout.

The app itself

Tadbooks collects nothing. Your books live in files on your own computer. There is no telemetry, no account, no cloud sync, and no "anonymous usage statistics." Backups are files you keep wherever you like. We couldn't look at your books if we wanted to.

Write to [email protected] and we'll have your email address and whatever you send. We use it to reply, and for nothing else.

Your license

One purchase is a license for you — or your business — to install and use Tadbooks on your computers, with free updates for the life of the product. Please don't redistribute or resell the app itself.

Refunds

Not for you? Email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full, no essay required.

No warranty

Tadbooks is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We work hard to make it dependable, but we can't promise it's free of bugs.

Not professional advice

Tadbooks is a bookkeeping tool, not an accountant. Nothing it produces — reports, charts, numbers — is tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice. You (and your accountant) are responsible for your filings and financial decisions. Always double-check figures that matter.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Tadbooks or this website is limited to the amount you paid for the app. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data — please keep backups; the app makes that easy.
